As a Buyer of Indirect categories (capital goods and technical areas as Maintenance/MRO) you will play a key role in the transformation of a Procurement team with the ambition to be the Best in Class. The impact youll have:
- You will contribute to manage the procurement of Indirect categories (capital goods and technical areas as Maintenance/MRO) at Group Level being involved in the commodity strategy definition with a specific focus in the sourcing including order entry.
- You will foster longterm partnerships with suppliers acting as their focal point for supplier visits business reviews negotiations and quality management.
- You will maintain effective relationships and communication with internal key stakeholders in all functions.
- You will prepare and conduct negotiations with suppliers regarding commercial terms payment conditions and delivery terms in collaboration with the Global Commodity Manager.
- You will prepare and analyze performance risk and sustainability reports for business meetings.
- You will conduct comparative analysis about suppliers capabilities and cost drivers to gain insights and improve spending efficiency and effectiveness.
- You will support the and tracking of innovation and sustainability projects in line with our business and ESG targets.
What youll bring to the team:
- Degree in a Technical field (Engineering preferred).
- 12 years of experience in a manufacturing/industrial company.
- Passion and interest in the Procurement area.
- Negotiation and costbenefit analysis skills.
- Entrepreneurial spirit analytical approach project management skills.
- Drive and initiative high energy and ability to adapt to changing environments.
- Eagerness to work in a team and to cooperate across departments in an international environment.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office package (Excel PowerPoint Word).
- High proficiency in Italian and English (nice to have Spanish/Portuguese).

Based in: Verona Italy with availability to travel in Italy and abroad based on business needs.
