The AfterSchool Program Coordinator is responsible for leading Valors AfterSchool Program. Key responsibilities include planning effective program activities that reflect Valors educational vision.Establishing a program culture that reflects the culture of the school as a whole. Maintaining high expectations for student behavior. Generating and hiring a strong pool of afterschool teacher candidates in collaboration with their supervisor. Developing pipelines for hiring afterschool teachers through local colleges universities and other organizations. Managing the programs budget (including payroll and operating expenses) effectively and responsibly. Cultivating strong positive relationships with parents.
The Coordinator will report to the Assistant Head of School. This position will be parttime in the range of 1/2 time to 3/4 time. Projected hours for the Coordinator are 3:00 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. MF with additional planning and preparation hours from the office and/or home.
