Job Description
Our Lady of Lourdes Interparish School (OLLIS) in Columbia is seeking a dedicated thirdgrade teacher for theacademic year. OLLIS is a K8 Catholic school home to approximately 635 students and offers a supportive faithcentered environment committed to academic excellence.
As part of our commitment to faculty success and wellbeing we provide:
*Classroom StartUp Funds: Teachers receive an average of $450 annually funded by both school administration and the Home and School Association to purchase essential classroom materials. Additional basic supplies are readily available in the teacher workroom.
*New Teacher Mentoring Program: Novice teachers are paired with experienced mentors who guide them through classroom management curriculum planning and school procedures. Educators joining OLLIS with prior experience receive support through a buddy program designed to facilitate a smooth transition.
*Professional Development Opportunities: Through partnerships with local schools and Title funds teachers are supported in attending conferences and workshops for continuous professional growth.
*Advanced Degree Support: Teachers aspiring to further their education benefit from tuition waivers and substantial financial assistance. OLLIS in collaboration with Columbia College and the Diocese of Jefferson City provides access to graduatelevel courses and reimbursement of up to 90 for those pursuing advanced degrees contingent upon a commitment to serve in the diocese.
