Were also looking at whats next for you and how we can help you build a career youre proud of.We are currently seeking Civil or Mechanical Engineering Students in Edmonton Buildings Districtto work on some of the most exciting projects that will change the landscape of the city. We are looking for students available for 4 8 or 12month terms starting Fall 2022.
Heres how a(n)Engineering Coop Studentfor our Edmonton Buildingsoffice contributes to our team:
Responsibilities
The role will be involved in a combination of the following duties dependent on the assigned project:
Monitor and coordinate trade scopes of work
Coordinate and update field drawings specifications and project schedules
Get a chance to be part of something bigger by working closely with seasoned project professionals
Conduct trade contractor quote reviews
Participate in project meetings
Get to visit some of our impressive projects and job sites while taking progress photos and monitoring deficiency logs knowing that you
helped build that
Be responsible for performing bid day assignments and overall bid document control. Everyone at PCL takes ownership and that includes
students.
Perform quantity takeoffs
Monitor worker productivity
Qualifications
Candidates must have a strong desire to work in a construction environment and prior field construction experience will be considered an
asset.
Application of various computer software programs will be required including word processing spreadsheet applications and drafting.
Access to a clean reliable vehicle
Fully Vaccinated 2 doses)
