HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) is a product group in Hitachi Energy which develops manufactures and sells DC transmission systems on a global market. HVDC technology is used to transmit electricity over long distances and for power transmission via submarine cables. It is also used to connect power systems.
We are looking for a Project Manager to lead and coordinate Construction and Commissioning processes and activities related to project scope. You will be in office supporting the accomplishment of the site and the management of the site which is performed by the site manager.

How youll make an impact
The responsibility of the PCCM is to manage and drive Construction and Commissioning processes and activities related to project scope of the HVDC station.
Plan monitor and report the overall construction progress cost and man loading forecast on regular basis.
Coordinate and lead handover process from Tendering
reviewing Construction and Commissioning scope schedule and budget including risk and opportunities. Organize and conduct Kick Off meeting for the C&C Team.Develop and plan temporary and permanent infrastructure together with the Site Manager.
Reporting progress and actual information to the Project
Director and to the C&C management department in conjunction with the Site Manager.Coordinate and execute subcontracts with Subcontracts Development and Delivery Manager.

Your background
Bachelor of Science in Civil Mechanical or ElectricalEngineering.
5 years of PM experience in HVDC projects or similar e.g. Power Generation EPC Oil & Gas or Automation Industry.
Good Intercultural Skills
Ability to communicate fluently in English spoken and written alike
Your experience has provided you with strong leadership selfcompetence and interpersonal skills. This means that you are a sharp negotiator with an excellent ability to resolve issues lead teams and work constructively with stakeholders
