Job Description

Overview

i3 is looking for a Senior Program Manager candidate to support and manage ongoing work with the Aviation and Missile Center at Redstone Arsenal. The position would be managing existing customer programs with organizations such as OUSD PEO M&S and PEO Aviation.

Position is open to a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the overall development life cycle for the environment and the ability to manage complex projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Work with customers senior officials and engineers to develop a strategy and road map that provides compelling and valueadd innovations and new capabilities.
  • Responsible for all staffing decisions skill mix and assessments.
  • Instill best practices ensure designs meet requirements and responsible for delivering highquality services.
  • Be an advocate within the team for maintaining the i3 culture and embodying i3 core values.
  • Formulate and enforce work standards assign contractor schedules review work discrepancies supervise contractor personnel and communicate policies purposes and goals to the organization.
  • Organize direct and coordinate planning and implementation of all contract support activities.
  • Be responsible for the business development within current customer base and/or for new customers.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education/Experience

  • Bachelors degree in an Engineering field required. Masters degree in Engineering preferred.
  • 815 years of relevant experience in progressively complex environments and programs.
  • Handson technical expertise required.
  • Experience with business development required.
  • Solid background of leading projects and teams.
  • Strong business and technical vision.
  • Exceptional customer relationship skills to include the ability to uncover true requirements recommend alternative solutions and approaches and lead engineering efforts that meet aggressive timelines.
  • Selfmotivated and comfortable with independent and team problem solving.
  • Excellent organization skills.
  • Excellent with Oral and Written Communications.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex programs that include multiple subcontractors material vendors and demanding customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage costs on a multimilliondollar design and development program to include estimates at complete (EAC) and other cost accounting methods.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
  • While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
  • The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop kneel crouch or crawl. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Regular i3 hours are 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. MondayFriday however additional hours may be required on occasion. Regular and punctual attendance is required.
