Job Description
Designs develops tests and supervises the manufacturing of electrical equipment such as electric motors radar and navigation systems communications systems and power generation equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Familiar with a variety of the fields concepts practices and procedures.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of complicated tasks.
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Education / Experience:
- Bachelors degree from a fouryear college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience (Entrylevel positions).
- Masters degree or equivalent; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience (Midlevel positions).
- Professional Engineer Certification preferred.
- DOE QClearance preferred.
Additional Skills:
- Excellent customer service and communications skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to deal with conflicts and stressful situations.
- Microsoft Office Word Excel PowerPoint Access SharePoint.
