Seeking a Direct Care Professional in Paxton MA working with adolescents/young adults (coed from ages 414.
$1000 Sign On Bonus
Base pay $19.53/hr. Could reach as high as $22.76/hr
Schedule: MF 84pm
$250 bonus if MAP certified
Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Massachusetts STARR is an off campus group home located in Paxton MA and serves coed youth ages 414 on a rapid reintegration care program. With a 1:3 staff to student ratio identify and treat safety/risk factors barrier behaviors factors that precipitated placement and facilitate reintegration of the youth to the family or next appropriate placement in the shortest time period possible usually within a matter of days.
You will add value by:
Maintaining a safe and therapeutic treatment environment that meets the physical emotional and personal needs of program clients while improving functioning and minimizing interfering behaviors.
Providing client documentation to include shift reports incident reports and individual progress notes.

Qualifications
Job Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Active drivers license is required.
- High School diploma or GED. Bachelors degree in Human Services Psychology Social Work or Special Education preferred.
- Previous experience preferred (not required) working with individuals under 21 with psychological emotional and behavioral disorders complex posttraumatic stress disorder cooccurring mental health and substance abuse disorders and/or autism spectrum disorders.
- Must be MAPS certified or able to obtain certification with 90 days of employment
- Must be able to attend a 2 week paid orientation which runs MondayFriday 8AM to 4PM.
- Post orientation the schedule is: Monday Friday 84 pm
