Job Title: Electrical Craft Team Member

Location: Corby (NN17

Salary:basic plus 15 shift allowance rising to 32684 plus 15 shift allowance on successful completion of the probation period)

Hours: 3 Shift pattern (Mornings Afternoons Nights)

Permanent

EC&I Partners are looking for a skilled Electrical Craft Team Member to join our clients team and play a key role in keeping their plant running safely and efficiently. Working as part of a multiskilled electrical team youll take on a mix of preventative maintenance and reactive faultfinding in a fastpaced manufacturing environment.

What You Will Do

In this role youll be responsible for maintaining electrical systems to ensure peak performance while upholding the highest safety standards. Your daily tasks will include:

  • Conducting planned and reactive maintenance across the plant to minimise downtime.
  • Working with relay control circuits AC and DC motors and different types of drives.
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing faults to keep production running efficiently.
  • Performing basic PLC faultfinding on Siemens Sand 1500 PLCs.
  • Interpreting electrical drawings and working with computerised maintenance management systems (MMS).
  • Identifying and implementing improvement projects to enhance plant reliability and performance.

What You Will Need

  • Apprenticetrained or hold a Level 3 qualification such as BTEC City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering
  • Heavy industrial experience
  • Experience with low voltage systems drives and PLCs.
  • Competence in electrical faultfinding and root cause failure analysis.
  • Familiarity with SAP PM or similar maintenance management systems.
  • 18th Edition qualification or basic mechanical knowledge (desirable).

This role follows a rotating shift pattern of days lates and nights (Monday to Friday) so youll need to be comfortable working different shifts. Teamwork is essential as you will be part of a multiskilled engineering team.
