Job Posting: Sales Associate Entry Level (SAMI)
Location: Austin Tx
Salary: $6075k (BOE)
Position Overview: Are you looking to start your career in sales with a company that values growth and development We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Sales Associate Trainee (SAT) to join our team. This is an entrylevel role designed to introduce you to our sales and estimating processes while helping to expand our market share.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote our services to potential customers to increase market share.
- Engage in the full estimating process and learn each step of the method.
- Conduct field observations and inspections onscreen estimating proposal writing and detail reviews.
- Develop client relationships through direct interactions and association involvement.
- Perform doortodoor customer contact to provide information about our services.
- Begin the qualifying process with potential customers as knowledge develops.
- Verify contract scopes manage client relationships and oversee project engagement from start to finish.
- Meet a Year 1 sales goal of at least $500K.
Position Requirements:
- Experience: A fouryear degree is preferred. If a candidate does not have a degree the following is required:
- Minimum of 2 years of college and 2 years of relevant experience OR
- Five years of construction and/or professional sales and customer relations experience.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office strong English communication skills bilingual preferred.
- Abilities & Requirements:
- Ability to read and understand construction documents.
- Familiarity with general construction practices.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Problemsolving and dispute resolution skills.
- Selfmotivated with a strong work ethic.
- Sales negotiation and relationshipbuilding skills.
- Career ambition to advance within the company.
- Valid drivers license and authorization to work in the U.S.
- Ability to climb scaffolding stairs and ladders.
- Capable of lifting 50 lbs and working in various weather conditions.
Education:
- A fouryear college degree is preferred but equivalent work experience will be considered.
