Job Description
Summary
Performs necessary tasks to fabricate and weld appurtenances used in the construction of carbon and stainless tanks.
Essential Functions
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Interpret blueprints to fabricate parts to form other assemblies.
- Weld in flat vertical horizontal and overhead positions.
- Grind and dress welds.
- Operate overhead cranes forklifts and other heavy machinery as needed.
- Operate welders shears punches torch plasm cutters as well as basic power tools.
- Needs to be proficient in all types of welding cutting brazing grinding layout and interpretation of blueprints.

Work Environment
The performance of this position may occasionally require exposure to the manufacturing areas that require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields and mandatory hearing protection.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Individuals may need to sit or stand as needed. The position may require walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day. The employee may reach above shoulder heights or below the waist and lift as required to store materials throughout the workday. The employee must be able to lift 50 pounds and use proper lifting techniques.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a fulltime position. Days and standard hours of work are Monday through Thursday 4:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. or possible night shift.
Travel
Travel is not expected with this position.
Required Education and Experience
1. Two years experience welding.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Forklift and overhead crane experience.
