Job Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Fire Alarm Technician to join our team in Mumbai. This seniorlevel fulltime position requires extensive expertise in maintaining and servicing fire alarm systems ensuring their proper functionality and compliance with safety standards. Applicants should have a solid track record with 7 to 10 years of relevant experience. The role demands proficiency in understanding complex electrical systems maintaining rigorous attention to detail and the capability to troubleshoot effectively.
Qualifications and Skills
- Understanding of electrical systems (Mandatory skill)
- Troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve program issues swiftly and efficiently
- Attention to detail to ensure all installations meet compliance and safety regulations
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings accurately
- Strong communication skills to interact with team members and clients professionally
- Physical fitness to perform handson work in various environments including heights and confined spaces
- Certification in fire alarm systems to ensure compliance with the latest industry standards
- Proven experience in identifying and diagnosing issues with existing alarm systems to enhance their performance
Roles and Responsibilities
- Install test and maintain fire alarm systems to ensure safety standards are met
- Perform regular maintenance checks and repairs to systems to ensure optimal functionality
- Diagnose malfunctions using test equipment and technical documentation
- Collaborate with other technicians to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues
- Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with local and national safety regulations
- Provide timely and detailed service reports after system evaluations
- Demonstrate installation techniques to junior technicians and provide mentorship
- Remain uptodate with industry advancements in fire alarm technology and systems
