About Us:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated middle school teacher to join our team and inspire students through career exploration computer skills and computerbased reading interventions.

Position Overview:

The Middle School Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and meaningful instruction in:

  • Career Exploration: Helping students discover various career paths develop employability skills and explore postsecondary education and training options.

  • Computer Skills: Teaching foundational and advanced computer skills including keyboarding digital literacy and productivity software applications.

  • ComputerBased Reading Interventions: Utilizing technologydriven programs to support students in strengthening their reading skills through targeted interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement engaging lessons aligned with curriculum standards.

  • Integrate technology effectively into instruction to promote student learning and skill development.

  • Monitor and assess student progress through formative and summative assessments.

  • Collaborate with colleagues in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) to share best practices and support student success.

  • Utilize data to differentiate instruction and provide individualized support.

  • Foster a positive inclusive and respectful classroom environment.

  • Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to the schools continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Required: Valid Arizona Teaching Certificate (or ability to obtain certification).

  • Experience or coursework in career exploration computer skills or reading interventions is preferred.

  • Strong technology skills and the ability to integrate digital tools into instruction.

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

  • Commitment to promoting student growth and success.
