Corsicana is a city in Navarro County Texas United States. It is located on Interstate 45 some 58 mi south of downtown Dallas. The population was 23770 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Navarro County.
The Corsicana Manufacturing Plant is the proud recipient of the 2019 Environmental Impact award! The plant was built in 1987 and manufactures cups lids togo containers and breakfast trays used in households and restaurants all over the US. We currently have approximately 500 full time employees and we are growing!

Responsibilities
This position is for Pactiv Evergreen Inc.
Job Duties:
- Manage direct and coordinate all activities related to a production shift to maximize productivity and minimize cost while maintaining quality
- Typically supervises 2550 employees
- Coordinate with Scheduler to ensure daily production requirements are achieved
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities including interviewing hiring & training employees
- Planning assigning & directing work
- Appraising performance
- Rewarding & disciplining employees
- Addressing complaints & resolving problems
- Ensure all production data is gathered and reported correctly on a daily basis
- Support & improve upon Quality initiatives designed to meet plant goals
- Ensures safety programs are implemented effectively reviewed regularly and revised as necessary
Qualifications
Job Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree preferred (business engineering)
- 3 years of manufacturing experience
- 3 Supervisory experience preferred
- Good verbal & interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work well in group situations
- Ability to deal effectively with conflict in mature & consistent manner
- Good computer skills
- SAP experience preferred
