Job Description
We are seeking an experienced CakePHP Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in PHP development and a deep understanding of the CakePHP framework. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications ensuring high performance security and scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop web applications using the CakePHP framework following best practices and coding standards.
- Develop and maintain backend components using the CakePHP framework.
- Design and maintain the database schema and integrate it seamlessly with CakePHP using models associations and queries.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate userfacing elements with serverside logic ensuring a responsive and visually appealing user experience.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks ensuring that the CakePHP applications run smoothly and efficiently.
- Conduct thorough debugging to ensure the reliability and stability of CakePHP applications.
- Use version control systems (e.g. Git) to manage code repositories and collaborate effectively with other developers.
- Maintain detailed documentation of code processes and configurations for reference and future development.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including designers project managers and quality assurance testers to deliver highquality solutions.
- Stay uptodate with the latest CakePHP developments and trends in web development and actively contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
- Proven experience of at least 3 years as a CakePHP Developer or PHP Developer with strong knowledge of CakePHP.
- Proficiency in PHP MySQL HTML CSS JavaScript and related web technologies.
- Experience with RESTful API development and integration.
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with AngularJS is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud services and deployment (e.g. AWS).
- Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
