About the position
Our dealership is seeking experienced Parts Coordinator which are essential to our teams success because this role helps our locations deliver safe quality repairs. Our Parts Coordinator is responsible for ordering verifying and distributing parts for our collision repair locations. Were looking for individuals who can create strong relationships with our vendors to not only ensure timely delivery and distribution of parts but also maintain accurate accounting records for the parts department. This is a position that offers the opportunity to learn our business operations and further grow your career. HoneyCars simple process transparent market pricing desirable inventory and daily onsite training will ensure a successful outcome for the Used car technician and the customer!
Responsibilities
- Accurately identify parts necessary to complete repairs in the shop
- Establish strong relationships and work with vendors to locate and order parts
- Receive and inspect parts for quality and accuracy
- Ensure timely distribution to the shop in accordance with the production schedule
- Maintain accurate accounting records for purchased and/or returned parts
- Keep parts area clean and organized for production efficiency
- Attend/collaborate with team during daily production meetings
- Complete required company and safety training
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Parts Clerk experience preferred
- Ability to do consistent physical activity reach below and above shoulder level kneeling bending and squatting and lifting objects over 50 lbs
- Must have the ability to read and understand instructions written estimates and work orders
- Can prioritize competing tasks and adapt easily to a fastpaced environment
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work well with others and be part of a team
- Proficiency Microsoft Office
- Must have a valid drivers license and be eligible for coverage under our company insurance policy
