GENERAL STATEMENT OF THE FUNCTION

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain knowledge of diversityrelated issues legislation and best practices.
Customer service oriented
Grounds maintenance/landscaping ie. mower eater chainsaw tractor operation
Chemical spray calculation and application
Ability to troubleshoot diagnose and perform light to medium maintenance on all equipment and infrastructure owned by the Airport.
Assist in maintaining field lighting system for runway taxiways and aprons.
Aviation fuel testing and quality control
Assist in fuel farm maintenance
Fueling aircraft
Tow and stow aircraft
Afterhours and weekend call rotations are required
Other duties may be assigned.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
This is a labor intensive job. The employee will be expected to sit on a lawn mower or hold a eater/edger chainsaw etc. for hours at a time climb ladders hold/pickup materials and equipment use shovels hoes and rakes to dig/fill holes and ditches. The ability to acclimate and endure outdoor environmental conditions is paramount.
