The HR Coordinator will support the Human Resources department in various administrative tasks ensuring smooth operations and compliance with company policies. This role involves providing general HR support maintaining employee records event planning and and providing payroll related support. The ideal candidate will be detailoriented highly organized and possess strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a point of contact for HRrelated questions providing guidance and support to employees.
- Maintain and update employee records ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and labor laws.
- Create and distribute weekly newsletters and related correspondences.
- Process payrollrelated documentation and assist in resolving payroll discrepancies.
- Complete employer verifications fee remission requests and other administrative duties.
- Assist in the recruitment process including job postings scheduling interviews and coordinating hiring efforts.
- Coordinate running and distribution of HR reports.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes including orientation paperwork and exit interviews.
- Manage the workers compensation claims process.
- Coordinate employee celebration and engagement events.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Assist with special HR projects and other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.
- Proficiency in HR software (Workday) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint).
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- High level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- HR certification (e.g. PHR SHRMCP) is a plus.
- Experience with payroll processing.
- Experience with Canva or other online graphic design platform
- Familiarity with Workday software
