As a Clinical Dietitian you will coordinate inspect and evaluate the therapeutic diet program while maintaining adherence to HIPAA standards. In this role you will be responsible for planning and organizing the nutritional care of residents and other individuals at the facility including those on prescribed diets. Your work will involve the preparation and modification of menu plans and nutritional care plans in accordance with physicians orders and standards of nutrition variety and quality. You can expect to be responsible for organizing a nutritional care program which includes nutritional assessments discharge summaries diet counseling and chart entries. You may also need to make recommendations regarding the purchasing finance and quality assurance of food purchased. This work is performed with a high degree of initiative and independent judgment and is reviewed by the Director of Dietetic Services through conferences reports and evaluations of overall effectiveness.
