This position is onsite in Indianapolis IN
We are seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join our team as a Roofing Sales Intern. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain handson experience in the roofing industry while developing essential skills in sales customer relations and project management. You will participate in a fun and rewarding 10 to 12 week summer internship starting in June 2025 and ending in August 2025 providing exposure to impactful projects in various departments that will influence the business. In doing so you develop business skills interpersonal skills and career development. This position will report directly to Sales leaders in our companys largest market.
Responsibilities
Gain experience in all facets of residential home sales sales processes and closing business.
Understand the flow of customers from first contact scheduling running the appointments and presenting the appropriate solution.
Learn all aspects of delivering the Bone Dry Experience to customers from a sales and production standpoint.
Become familiar with i360 CRM to help manage customers review and understand sales metrics.
Familiarize self with the production management team to ensure seamless of roofing projects including scheduling installations and coordinating with subcontractors.
Research industry trends competitor offerings and customer preferences to identify new sales opportunities and improve sales strategies.
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a Bachelors degree program preferably in Business Administration Marketing or a related field.
Strong presentation skills and the ability to deliver compelling product demonstrations.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proactive approach to customer followup.
Competent use of CRM software for lead management and sales tracking.
Ability to climb ladders to access attics and rooftops under the guidance of a supervisor for shadowing and ride along opportunities.
Pass a background check
Valid drivers license
Military service a plus
Bilingual a plus
Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation: $15/hour during the 1012 week long Internship Program
