Job Description
The State College Area School District is currently accepting applications for Classroom Teacher Assistants for anticipated summer programming.The District seeks dynamic energetic teacher assistants who are studentfocused and have knowledge of both theory and practice specific to the education of PreK6 learners. Organizational and collaborative skills are critical to success in this position. The District is searching for candidates who demonstrate a commitment to professional growth and development and possess various professional experiences.
Teacher assistants will support lead teachers with summer programming for our Summer CHAMPsCamp.
Expected Dates: July 7 2025 July 31 2025 plus preplanning and training. Job duties include working with Champs Camp Lead Teachers to carry out designed student activities and lessons. Eligibility for a PA emergency certificate is required including those Education majors with at least 60 credits.
