Lake Ridge Care Centera 5star 56bed facilityis currently seeking a PartTimeCook/Culinary Aide to join our culinary team. In this role you will be responsible for preparing and serving meals to our residents. If you have a passion for cooking and enjoy working in a team environment this position is a great opportunity to make a difference in our residents lives. This isa PartTime benefit eligible position working a varied scheduled including weekends. You will work every other weekend as a cook and as a culinary aide during the week.
Cook Hours: 6:00 am to 2:30pm every other Saturday and Sunday
Culinary Aide Hours: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm 24 days per pay period)
Pay: $17.04 $22.90 / hour depending on experience
What does a Cook/Culinary Aide do
- Deliver exceptional service to residents by providing fast friendly and excellent customer service to all guests.
- Prepare and assist cooking all meals to ensure adherence to recipes and quality standards.
- Work within the department to provide quality and nutritious meals and service to residents.
- Assist with food preparation and serving meals to residents.
- Help maintain a clean and sanitary dietary department.
- Wash dishes and clean the kitchen and dining rooms.
- Assist residents employees and guests with a broad range of dietary needs.
- Perform other duties as needed.
- Prior restaurant or healthcare experience preferred but not required. Well train you!
- Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
- Basic math skills.
