Job Description

At ING we are looking for Tribe Lead Cloud & Tech. Foundations

Your role and work environment:

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Tribe Lead to drive our Cloud & Tech Foundations Tribe Lead joining our CIO Domain as part of the CIO MT (management team) reporting to the CIO for ING Spain & Portugal.

The responsibility of this tribe consists of Keeping the bank up & running providing the foundational layer for present and future ING platform by automating core components to standardize services and infrastructures and providing a productive user environment while optimizing customer services and satisfaction.

You will be successfully implementing recovery strategies for project crisis situations where the bank is affected guaranteeing bank availability and resilience by proactively and reactively managing incidents.

You will be working hand by hand with other Tribe Leads and Architecture Center of Expertise to provide onprem private and public cloud infrastructure as well as the automated foundational layer for present and future Tech Platform.

You will be leading a group of senior IT managers and you will play a critical role in their development as future ING leaders. You will have to create a culture of collaboration transparency responsibility and excellence helping other to be successful staying a step ahead and guiding engineering managers in your team to improve and grow.

Stability reliability resource allocation and budget management will be essential word in your vocabulary to ensure ING provides customer with the best banking experience.

Your key responsibilities:

As Cloud & Tech Foundations Tribe Lead you will:

  • Lead the core functionalities and technology approach to the foundational layer present and future including technologies as private and public clouds.
  • Provide core components automation to standardize services and infrastructures.
  • Provide a productive user environment to optimize customer services satisfaction.
  • Foster engineering best practices within the organization to position ING as a market reference in the technology field.
  • Ensure bank availability and resilience while reducing tinetomarket with bestinclass processes.
  • Facilitate the tech change strategy at CIO Domain ensuring strategic alignment and executional certainty and facilitate adherence to transformation methodologies to deliver change in the Tribe.
  • Be responsible for effective collaboration applying our One Agile Way of Working.
  • Stimulates interaction between and alignment across people tribes squads areas and chapters.
  • Drives crosscultural collaboration by creating awareness and understanding leveraging diversity.
  • Creates an atmosphere in which everyone feels appreciated and heard and where everyone enjoys their work.
  • Provides highlevel strategic guidance to the IT Area Leads on development of engineers.
  • Ensure IT Area Leads and Area Leads have appropriate competencies and skills by continuous improvement of their skills craftsmanship and the area of expertise.
  • Oversees overall IT maturity in areas and chapters and drives continuous craftsmanship development.
  • Ensures consistency in craftsmanship development to maintain a wellbalanced engineering workforce.

Liderars un grupo de gerentes senior de TI y desempears un papel crtico en su desarrollo como futuros lderes de ING. Tus responsabilidades clave:

Como Tribe Lead de Cloud & Tech Foundations debers:

  • Liderar las funcionalidades centrales y el enfoque tecnolgico de la capa fundamental presente y futura incluyendo tecnologas como nubes privadas y pblicas.
  • Proporcionar automatizacin de componentes centrales para estandarizar servicios e infraestructuras.
  • Proporcionar un entorno productivo para los usuarios para optimizar la satisfaccin de los servicios al cliente.
  • Fomentar las mejores prcticas de ingeniera dentro de la organizacin para posicionar a ING como una referencia en el campo tecnolgico.
  • Garantizar la disponibilidad y resiliencia del banco mientras se reduce el tiempo de comercializacin con procesos de primera clase.
  • Facilitar la estrategia de cambio tecnolgico en el CIO Domain asegurando la alineacin estratgica y la certeza en la ejecucin y facilitar la adherencia a las metodologas de transformacin para entregar cambios en la tribu.
  • Ser responsable de la colaboracin efectiva aplicando nuestro One Agile Way of Working.
  • Estimular la interaccin y alineacin entre personas tribus escuadrones reas y captulos.
  • Impulsar la colaboracin intercultural creando conciencia y comprensin aprovechando la diversidad.
  • Crear una atmsfera en la que todos se sientan apreciados y escuchados y donde todos disfruten de su trabajo.
  • Proporcionar orientacin estratgica de alto nivel a los IT Area Leads sobre el desarrollo de ingenieros.
  • Asegurar que los IT Area Leads y Area Leads tengan competencias y habilidades adecuadas mediante la mejora continua de sus habilidades artesana y rea de especializacin.
  • Supervisar la madurez general de TI en reas y captulos y fomentar el desarrollo continuo de la artesana.
  • Asegurar la consistencia en el desarrollo de la artesana para mantener una fuerza laboral de ingeniera bien equilibrada.
