Job Description

Join iCook and iSTEAM After School as a STEAM or/and Cooking Instructor for our after school enrichment programs. Make a lasting impact on the lives of elementary students and give back to your community. We are a leading provider for after school programs and summer camps nationwide with hundreds of locations.
Your Role:
- Lead interactive afterschool sessions centered around STEM (or STEAM) and/or cooking using provided curriculum.
- Foster an engaging and inclusive learning environment where students can actively participate in handson experiments and creative projects.
- Inspire a lifelong passion for learning by encouraging critical thinking problemsolving and teamwork.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Brings experience working with children whether in a school camp or similar setting and is excited to make a positive impact on their educational journey.
- Demonstrates effective classroom management skills creating a safe and supportive atmosphere for students to learn and explore.
- Values punctuality reliability and the opportunity to contribute to the enrichment of young minds.
Your Schedule and Pay:
- Pay is $80 per class (class is 1 hour long)
- We will pair you up with the schools conveniently located near you
- All classes run around the same time starting between 35pm (depending on the school) in the afternoon and run for 1 hour. You can only teach 1 class per day or up to 5 classes per week.
- The spring session is beginning in midMarch with classes scheduled for Wednesdays and Thursdays.
