Job Description
A leading Telecommunications Company in the MEA region is seeking a Sourcing and Project Delivery Engineer. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project management procurement or presales particularly within the power telecom or construction sectors. You will be responsible for sourcing strategies procurement activities and overseeing project delivery ensuring projects are completed on time within budget and meet all technical specifications.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive sourcing strategy aligned with the companys objectives.
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality cost and delivery requirements.
Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends pricing and technology advancements.
Monitor supplier performance addressing any issues related to cost delivery or quality.
Negotiate contracts with suppliers and manage contract terms to ensure favorable conditions for the company.
Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to ensure cost-saving solutions in project planning and execution.
Coordinate with project stakeholders to define project requirements deliverables and timelines.
Monitor project progress identify risks and implement mitigation plans to keep the project on track.
Lead meetings with stakeholders to ensure alignment and regular updates on project status and deliverables.
Oversee financial management of projects including pricing strategies cost projections and cash flow analysis to ensure cost efficiency.
Qualifications
4 years of experience in project management procurement or presales ideally in the power telecom or construction industries.
Bachelors degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
PMP certification preferred; MBA is a plus.
Proven leadership strong communication and negotiation skills.
Excellent multitasking and organizational skills in fast-paced environments.
Expertise in procurement cost optimization and supplier coordination.
Solid experience in project planning and execution to ensure timely delivery.
Competency in presales support collaborating with engineering teams on BOQs and project data.
Proficiency in financial and risk management including pricing strategies and cash flow projections.
Leadership and problem-solving abilities.
Analytical thinking and time management.
A result-oriented approach with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and successful project delivery.

Monday to Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
