Trainee Mammography Technologist with Imagen and Optum Primary Care FT Days

Imagen Technologies is a high growth healthcare startup enabling patients to be diagnosed treated and managed at their primary care appointment (vs. having to refer out to hospitals imaging centers and other slow and expensive options). Today weve built an AIenabled platform that enables patients to receive immediate diagnostic tests immediate results and immediate next steps all in a single Primary Care appointment. For example: through our platform women across the U.S. are now receiving comprehensive breast imaging results and specialistdriven next steps at their local Primary Care office condensing a multimonth diagnostic journey into 60 minutes. Imagen is partnering with Optum to bring our powerful diagnostic platform to their primary care patients in Long Beach CA.

With over $160m in funding from Google Ventures and some of the largest clinical networks in the country we are rapidly expanding this platform across the U.S. from 7 states and 50000 patients in 2022 to 16 states and 500000 patients in 2023. By 2026 we will be delivering care across 35 states and to more than 5m patients per year.

Imagen is looking for a motivated XRay Technologist eager to expand their skills into comprehensive mammography. Imagens Mammography Technologist Trainee will provide mammography services at Optums primary care practice in Long Beach CA. Youll have the opportunity to expand your radiology skill set by receiving comprehensive mammography training perform screening and diagnostic exams and contribute to a vital imaging program that supports early detection. Youll receive handson training from Imagens mammography leadership team as well as access to additional external training programs. By the end of our program Imagens leadership team will ensure you are MSQA compliant and on a path to receiving your ARRT certification in mammography.

Position Details:

• Schedule: MondayFriday daytime hours
• No night or weekend coverage and no oncall requirements!
• Primary care facility setting. Please note this is NOT a mobile position

As a Trainee Mammography Technologist you will:

• Complete a fullypaid 40 hour mammography training program plus 8 hours of digital & DBT mammography training
• Perform 2D/3D screening and diagnostic mammography studies upon successful completion of mammography training program and passing of licenses
• Perform all required QC testing data entry and mammography tracking documentation tasks with comprehensive training provided from the Imagen mammography leadership team
• Assist patients from checkin through exam completion and provide patients with white glove compassionate service
• Enjoy remote and inperson support from the Imagen leadership team who have clinical expertise on the day to day management of program

• Currently hold an ARRT certification in radiography
• Currently hold a California state Xray license
• Have 1 or more years of experience performing XRay
• You are able to lift or move 50 pounds unassisted

The hourly rate for this position is $40.00 to $45.00/hour. Please note that the hourly range is a guideline and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications skill level competencies and work location.
