As a Senior Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Sector Identity Access Management you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance build and deliver trusted marketleading technology products in a secure stable and scalable way. Drive significant business impact through your capabilities and contributions and apply deep technical expertise and problemsolving methodologies to tackle a diverse array of challenges that span multiple technologies and applications.
Job responsibilities
- Regularly provides technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams contractors and vendors
- Develops secure and highquality production code and reviews and debugs code written by others
- Drives decisions that influence the product design application functionality and technical operations and processes
- Serves as a functionwide subject matter expert in one or more areas of focus
- Actively contributes to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks tools and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Influences peers and project decisionmakers to consider the use and application of leadingedge technologies
- Adds to the team culture of diversity equity inclusion and respect
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- Formal training or certification on Software Engineeringconcepts and 5 years applied experience
- Expert understanding of OOP concepts Design Patterns Extensive Software Analysis and Design experience
- Understand requirements technical design and ask the right questions to be able to come up with good quality solution.
- Suggest and prototype new designs and ideas to solve problems.
- Evaluate upstream/downstream data and systems or technical implications and advises on mitigation actions.
- Experience with Java Web Services (REST API) Spring Boot Microservices Multithreading database technology such as Oracle / MS SQL / Cockroach
- Experience working withterraform or similar declarative Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
- Experience working with Test automation such as Selenium Cucumber Blazemeter etc.
- Experience with Agile Development Techniques Issue/Bug Management and Team Collaboration Tools
- Experience with GitJenkinsCI/CDApplication Resiliency and Security
- Experience withPerformanceTelemetry Monitoring Alerts Logging etc. nonfunctionaltools.
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills
- Experience with customer facing web applications NOSQL databases such as Mongo
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills Zeal to learn new technologies Independent and selfmotivated
- Certification such as Java Oracle is preferred
- Experience leadinga technical team
