Primary Roles and Responsibilities:
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation benefits and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; recognition and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Supports new hire orientation and facilitation; preemployment and offboarding activities.
- Suggest new procedures and policies for improving employee experience as well as the efficiency of HR department and company.
- Assist in writing and development of HR policies procedures forms memos templates and letters.
- Assist in promoting good employee/company relations through recognition and appreciation activities and events.
- Handles employmentrelated inquiries from applicants employees and supervisors referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
- Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings terminations and investigations.
- Maintains compliance with federal state and local employment laws and regulations and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends best practices regulatory changes and new technologies in human resources talent management and employment law.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and experience:- Bachelor Degree preferred; SHRM certification preferred.
- Excellent communication and people skills ethics and cultural awareness.
- Aptitude for problemsolving and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment to support the overall HR function.
- Knowledge of national laws and regulations related to employment.
- Resourceful mindset and strong attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
As the HR Generalist you will perform various human resources duties within the endtoend employee life cycle including but not limited to Onboarding Inclusion and Diversity Employee Engagement Employee Relations Performance and Policy Management etc. The successful candidate is a proactive perceptive and approachable person who is comfortable performing HR related duties on a professional level while working closely with HR management supporting the organization. Additionally this person must be comfortable working in a factory/production environment.
