The Medical Assistant II provides clinical office support to physicians and surgeons and performs patient care and administrative duties necessary to deliver quality patient care. Focus of tasks include basic rooming of patient EKGs Point of Care Testing EPIC documentation. In addition to general experience the MA II should have at least 2 years experience in a specialized area such as phlebotomy pulmonary testing surgery or cardiology.

2 years experience as Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist.
General Skills and Competencies
Ability to communicate effectively with multicultural and languagedeficit patients
Effective interpersonal and communications skills required
Excellent telephone etiquette
Proficient in medical terminology and HIPAA guidelines
Knowledge of electronic medical record or billing systems preferred but not required.
Must be able to adapt to a growing and changing environment
