Your mission
Contribution to multidisciplinary teams with own scientific expertise to achieve corporate and customer goals of challenging drug discovery projects within the field of insect cell culture
You will be responsible for development and optimization of expression strategies for recombinant protein production in insect cells with the goal to reach protein amounts and quality suitable for our structural studies cryoEM crystallography)
Yourmain focuswill be a highthroughput small <10mL) and midscale <500mL) screening pipeline for our insect cell expression platform as well as supporting those efforts forE.coli
Preparation of all relevant project documentation i.e.SOPs technical reports project plans scientific presentations) will also be part of your work as well as their review and training
Presentation of the scientific results as well as convincing and confident communication of the content to colleagues customers and business partners
Your profile
Proficient in insect cell culture for recombinant protein expression. Experience with other cell systems is a plus.
PhD in biochemistry or related field with an excellent proven track record
Ideally 12 years working experience in the pharmaceutical industry regarding the development of small or midscale screening for insect cells.
Handson mentality with a problemsolving mindset and attention to details
Your positive and open personality helps you to understand other opinions and contributes to productive project discussions with internal and costumer project teams
You work independent and serviceoriented with an outstanding team spirit and excellent organization and communication skills
