Position summary:
This position provides administrative support to Ryan VanDeLoo CFP of Thrivent Financial. This position serves as a resource to the Financial Advisor and client/members and supports the daily operations of the practice including but not limited to: utilizing Thrivent Financial computer systems and programs in support of client relations and other administrative tasks as assigned. The Administrative Assistant reports to and is employed by Ryan VanDeLoo CFP of Thrivent Financial.
This position will be out of Oak Creek WI. This position is a part time position 32 hours a week). Compensation for this position is commensurate with education and experience. Range $2025 per hour. Opportunities for growth available.

Job Description
Position Roles/Responsibilities/Accountabilities
- Handles incoming telephone calls and responds to requests for information
- Prepares or coordinates the preparation of routine correspondence reports and special projects typically of a routine nature
- Supports projects administration of various programs and processing functions as needed
- Update the contact management system with client/member contact and preference information
- Assist Financial Advisors in the preparation and follow up for the client/member meetings
- Verbal or written communications with prospective or existing customers regarding financial matters to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
- Assist Lead Advisors with preparation and follow up for client meetings
- Fill out necessary forms for opening or maintaining accounts and complete applications to the point of signature for advisors to finalize and approve
- Tracking of current and pending business to ensure successful task completion
- Provides backup support on tasks that do not require any type of licensing or registration for other staff members as needed
- Completes other miscellaneous tasks as assigned
Position Qualifications
- Previous administrative/secretarial experience desired
- Strong technical computer aptitude and knowledge of business tools (e.g. Microsoft Word Excel Outlook Salesforce DocuSign) or ability to learn
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain a high quality of work while experiencing frequent interruptions
- Ability to maintain integrity of sensitive/confidential information
- Basic understanding of our products and services and Thrivent Financial

As part of Ryan VanDeLoos recruiting/hiring/contracting process a verification of a candidates background will be made to complete the hiring/contracting process.
