Job Description
Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Lead Childcare Aide provide safe and appropriate care for children in the dropin childcare area at Augusta Health Fitness.
Experience Requirements
Previous childcare experience preferred but not required.
Education Requirements
High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
Essential Functions
1 Responsible for monitoring children of varying ages and providing a safe and constructive environment.
2 Implement daily plans activities and crafts to provide an engaging atmosphere.
3 Provide excellent customer service and communicate daily with parents. Report progress of children to parents through reports.
4 Maintain positive and professional interactions with all staff and parents.
5 Ensure proper paperwork is on file for each child and that each child is checked in and out through computer software.
6 Maintain training requirements certifications and continuing education.
7 Ensure the cleanliness and organization of childcare area and complete the appropriate daily cleaning checklist.
8 Attend all Augusta Health Fitness staff meetings
