ICI Construction Project Manager
(with Business Development Focus)
Location: Toronto ON
Compensation: $100k$150k
About the Company
Our client is a leading construction firm specializing in Industrial Commercial and Institutional (ICI) projects across the Greater Toronto Area. With a reputation for delivering highquality projects on time and within budget we are seeking a dynamic ICI Construction Project Manager who can oversee project while contributing to business development initiatives focusing on retail medical and dental offices restaurants etc.
Job Summary
The ICI Construction Project Manager will be responsible for managing construction projects from inception to completion ensuring quality safety and budget adherence. Additionally the successful candidate will play a key role in business development identifying new opportunities cultivating client relationships and driving growth.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
Lead and manage ICI construction projects from planning through completion.
Develop and maintain project schedules budgets and quality control measures.
Coordinate with clients consultants subcontractors and site teams to ensure project success.
Oversee contract administration procurement and risk management.
Ensure compliance with health safety and regulatory standards.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address issues proactively.
Business Development
Identify new business opportunities and potential clients in the ICI sector.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients consultants and industry stakeholders.
Assist in preparing bids proposals and presentations for new projects.
Collaborate with senior management to develop strategies for market expansion.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the ICI construction sector.
Degree or diploma in Construction Management Engineering or a related field.
Strong understanding of construction contracts procurement and project scheduling.
Proven ability to manage budgets timelines and multiple stakeholders.
Experience in business development client relations or sales within the construction industry is a strong asset.
Excellent communication negotiation and leadership skills.
Proficiency in project management software such as Procore MS Project or equivalent.
PMP or Gold Seal Certification is an asset but not required.
