Job Description

Evolve Healthcare is seeking atravelRehab RN for a travel contract in an inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital in Edwardsville Il.


Estimated Hourly Pay: $56.53 travelers hourly estimated gross based off 36 hours with per diem/stipends and based off experience

Estimated Weekly Gross Pay: $2035.00

Shift:7:00am7:30pm and 7.00pm and 7.30 am with every other weekend required

Location:Edwardsville IL 62025


Provides planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of Assessment Planning Intervention and Evaluation. Develops nursing care plan in coordination with patient family and interdisciplinary staff as necessary. Communicates changes in patients clinical condition with Physicians Nursing Supervisor/Manager and coworkers as appropriate. Participates in discharges planning process.


Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.

Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.

Provides patient and family teaching throughout the rehabilitation stay and prior to discharge.

Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.

Works cooperatively and actively participates with other members of the interdisciplinary team.

Participates in Continuous Quality and Performance Improvement (CQPI).

Maintains positive relationships with all customers.

Promotes rehabilitation nursing philosophy and scope of practice.

Actively participates in team conferences.

Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.

Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.

Performs timely and accurate QI assessments.

Provides a safe environment for patients visitors and staff and complies with appropriate and approved safety standards.

Supports the leadership for the hospital in a professional manner and acts as a role model.

Other duties as assigned.



Requirements

Facility Requirement:

Traveler must have permanent address outside 50mile radius of Edwardsville IL 62025 (address must be included in travelers profile). Local candidates may be considered if you meet all the requirements.


Experience:

Must have experience working in a hospital or rehab unit.

Traveler must have completed 1 2 years of acute care or inpatient rehab experience.

Preferred if traveler has completed at least one 13week contract.

EMR: Meditech Expanse


Licensure and Certification:

  • Traveler must have an active state licensure as Registered Nurse.
  • BLS must be certified through American Heart Association ONLY
  • ACLS must be certified through American Heart Association ONLY
  • CRRN Preferred
  • Minimum six months Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.



Education

Graduation from an accredited Bachelors of Science in Nursing Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program.

Needs 2 references from recent work environment/assignments (supervisor or manager only).
