We are a leading manufacturer of CNC Plasma Cutting Machines CNC Laser Cutting Systems Welding Automation Systems (TIG/MIG/Laser) and other custom fabrication solutions.
Job Description:
We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with a strong background in machine design and proficiency in **SolidWorks** to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for precision engineering and handson experience in designing machines for metal cutting and welding automation applications.
**Key Responsibilities:**
Design and develop 3D models and 2D drawings of machines and components using SolidWorks.
Create detailed fabrication and assembly drawings for CNC cutting systems welding automation setups and general fabrication projects.
Collaborate with the production and R&D teams to ensure feasibility manufacturability and performance of the designs.
Modify and improve existing designs for better performance costeffectiveness and manufacturability.
Participate in product testing validation and documentation.
Maintain a library of design files BOMs and revision control.
**Required Skills & Qualifications:**
- Masters/ Bachelors Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Minimum **3 years of handson experience** in machine design using **SolidWorks**.
Strong knowledge of mechanical components sheet metal design fabrication practices and GD&T.
Experience in designing automation systems involving actuators guideways sensors and welding equipment is a big plus.
Understanding of CNC machines motion control systems and laser/plasma cutting technologies is desirable.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
**Nice to Have:**
Experience in ERP integration for BOM and project tracking.
Exposure to electrical enclosure design or integration with control panels.

VASAI EAST MAHARASHTRA
