Job Description
The Role
Based in our Support Office in Malvern and reporting to the Head of Finance we have a fantastic opportunity for an organised and detail focused Accounts Payable Officer to join our team.
This role will focus on the GAZMAN brand and manage and process the companys financial obligations to vendors and suppliers ensuring accurate timely payments and maintaining positive vendor relationships. This role is part time 30 hours a week ideally spread over 5 days.
Other responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Review and process invoices from vendors ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
- Update and reconcile accounts payable ledger
- Address and resolve any billing discrepancies or disputes with vendors
- Perform vendor statement reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Ensure timely closure of Accounts Payable at the end of each month
- Assist with the monthend closing process by ensuring all AP transactions are recorded correctly
- Prepare and process payment runs for approved invoices and vendor accounts
- Process staff expense claims as and when required.
- Assist with coverage for Womenswear/International payments as and when required
- Provide support to the finance team in any adhoc tasks or projects related to accounts payable or accounting functions

- Previous experience in Accounts Payable role
- A methodical and structured approach to work with excellent time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player
- Highly organised to meet schedules and timeframes
- High level of Excel proficiency
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Accurate and speedy data entry skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly developed written and verbal skills
- Positive and proactive can do attitude
