In this position the Music Teacher will deliver a comprehensive music education program to students in Grades PK8 as part of the Unified Arts Rotation. The Music Teacher develops in each student a lifelong interest in and appreciation of music as a fundamental expression of human emotion. In this position the Music Teacher enables students to experience the beauty emotional intensity and thoughtfulness of music and musical expression. Utilizing a variety of musical experiences that include making studying interpreting evaluating and performing music the Music Teacher provides a safe and inclusive learning environment where artistic risktaking discovery and experimentation are welcome.Applicants are expected to have knowledge in current instructional research and evidencebased instructional practices.
