Job Description
Overview
NovaCare Rehabilitation in Minneapolis MN is currently seeking a fulltime WorkStrategies Specialist for an industrial setting.
This is a 40hourperweek position for a certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)to be a part of a unique opportunity within the industrial setting. We are expanding our partnership with an international employer at the MSP airport for Injury Prevention services.
Compensation: starting at $50000 and up commensurate with experience.
Schedule: 5:00a.m.11:00p.m. 58 hour shifts); MondayFriday.

Responsibilities
- Fulltime Onsite coverage for industrial client under the direction of Account/Program Manager
- Delivery of full continuum of Onsite Injury Prevention Services at assigned location. Prevention Services include:
- Assessment triage and first aid application for workplace injury/discomfort
- Ergonomic risk assessment and implementation of ergonomic solutions
- Design and implementation of functional assessments preventative exercise and stretching
- Job coaching and behavior modification both oneonone and in group settings
- Providing education and training on a wide range of injury prevention topics
- Office ergonomics
- Health and wellness consultation
- Documentation and reporting on employee encounters
- Regular communication with both client and Select leadership
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- EMT Certificate
- Minimum one year experience as an EMT
- Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Position requires a strong knowledge of musculoskeletal injury assessment and prevention interventions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic First Aid
- 3 years EMT experience a plus
