JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
This position is responsible design engineering and project planning/ in support of Entergys Telecommunication Transport Network including inside plant outside plant Tower construction cable construction and contractor coordination communication systems and protocols creation and maintenance of all associated records plus other duties as assigned.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide telecom engineering support as described below for Entergys operating area in Arkansas Mississippi Louisiana and Texas. Frequent day travel and occasional overnight travel are required to adequately support requirements of this position.

Minimum Experience Required:
IT Specialist: will consider the right recent graduate of the degree programs mentioned above for extensive onthejob training and development.
IT Specialist Sr: Bachelors degree in technology or business and 4 years of relevant IT experience is required or in lieu of a degree 8 years of relevant IT experience is required.
IT Consultant: Bachelors degree in technology or business and 5 years of directly relevant experience; 8 years of directly relevant experience desired.
Sr. IT Consultant: Bachelors degree in technology or business and 10 years of directly relevant experience; 12 years of directly relevant experience desired.
