Job Title: Lead Mammographer And Breast Service Lead

Department: Mammography

Location: Cromwell Hospital 164178 Cromwell Road Kensington SW5 0TU

Permanent / Contract: 12 months Fixed Term Contract

Salary range: Competitive

Full time/part time: FullTime 37.50 hours per week

The Cromwell Hospital

The Cromwell Hospital is our stateofart internationally rebounded multidisciplinary hospital offering some of the most technologically advanced treatments and complex surgical care.

We have a patient centred approach to our services offering a range of services to include; diagnostics and therapies inpatients and outpatient surgical and medical wards CDU AICU paediatrics (in/out patients) theatres pharmacy to name but a few.

Youll help us make health happen by:

The Breast Services Lead will have overall responsibility for the planning and delivery of current and future services that are responsive to the needs of patients and the organisation within available resources underpinned by relevant specialist knowledge and skills.

Youll provide clinical expertise operational and strategic business planning and leadership to the Cromwell Hospital Basinghall Clinic and London Medical mammography departments and ensure compliance with all appropriate policies and procedures.

Youll work in collaboration with the wider radiology team and modalities including MRI Nuclear Medicine General XRay CT Administration Team and Radiotherapy staff to provide a comprehensive effective safe service.

Youll also have proven professional experience in managing QA audits incidents and compliant management.

It is essential that you are fully trained and conversation with SECTRA PACs/RIS.

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

BSc in Radiography (essential)

Registered to practice HCPC Health Care Professional Council (essential)

Substantial post graduate experience in radiology at senior level including CT (essential)

Ability to manage the clinical and technical environment requiring knowledge of the scientific clinical technical and physical environment and requirements relevant to the delivery of modern and effective clinical imaging services.
