Mobile Assistant Janitors covering all janitorial duties along with cleaning and school crossing patrols as required at:
We currently have several permanent vacancies on a 40 or 52week contract to join our teams within Schools and Nurseries in West Fife.
Dunfermline Area
Dunfermline to Inverkeithing Area
Dunfermline and surrounding villages in West Fife
You will earn a competitive salary of23783.40 to 24890.91prorata per year with enhancements for weekends and shift work and have access to a range of benefits including:
Undertaking prescribed cleaning procedures as directed in various establishments and ensuring all bodily fluid/spillages are dealt with in accordance with Service guidelines.
Ensuring that educational establishments and grounds are opened at prescribed times and that they are secure at the end of the working day.
Cooperating with all appropriate personnel and agencies in maintaining the security of the premises.
A willingness to complete additional training as required.
Responding to emergency callouts in accordance with established procedures including attending at the location contacting appropriate authorities inspecting for damage and theft effecting repair and where necessary liaising with contractors / emergency services on site.
Carrying out prescribed procedures in the event of fire flooding accident or damage including liaising with appropriate staff contractors etc.
The Person
Drivers licence is desirable.
Ability to provide a regular and effective service working alone or as part of a Team.
You will be required to attend an Induction Training Day before starting in post.
Before confirming your appointment you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
