Job Summary:The Technology Assistant will assist staff in the districts Technology Department. Positions may work with User Services (tech equipment support) Network or Server teams and will perform a variety of technical tasks in support of those groups such as imaging computers; assisting with onesite repairs installations service and maintenance of equipment; installing network devices and repairing connections; building new server images patching systems and assisting with account management; or checking notifications from security services and network monitoring systems to identify potential security issues. All positions also assist with data entry filing moving equipment and other related duties as required.
Technology Assistants may also be asked to drive district vehicles including vans and trucks to pickup and deliver computer equipment at district schools and administrative offices. (Technology Assistants who are assigned to drive district vehicles must meet additional qualifications as shown below.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age have graduated from high school (or equivalent).
Salary:$16.28 $18.25 per hour. Salary based on 202324 NonRepresented Salary Schedule.
Work Year:Hours and days vary (this is a temporary hourly school year only position)
