Special Education Teacher NonCategorical 1.0FTE Date Needed: ASAP 10 Month Calendar Temporary Open until filled
Internal &External applicants must submit: Talent Ed application current resume one current letter ofprofessional reference.
All External applicants must provide a copy of current license
The salary schedule for the 2425 school year is currently under negotiation and will be updated upon settlement

GENERAL DUTIES:
The Teacherpromotes and develops successful learning for students performs instructional and related duties in accordance with District policies and terms of the teacher contract. The Teacher also maintains a cooperative attitude with staff parents and students.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- A valid State of Oregon Teaching License appropriate for the position with the correct endorsement
- A minimum of a Bachelors degree from an accredited institution
- Hold a valid Oregon Drivers license and reliable transportation
- The ability to follow oral and written instructions
- The ability to effectively work and communicate with students parents and school personnel from diverse cultures and/or backgrounds
- The ability to work harmoniously with others
- Proficient oral and written communication skills in English
- Proficient in the use of computer and Internet based applications including but not limited to email and systems applications
- The ability to learn new automated systems as they are brought online by the District
- Maintain integrity of confidential information relating to students staff or district patrons
- NonCategorical Program Experience experience working and supporting students with autism
