Who You Are:
Youre a principal content strategist at heart whos eager to manage the planning coordination and delivery of our content focused on our partner channel areas including Integrated Software Vendors (ISVs) Financial Institutions (FIs) Associations Dealers & Agents and Wholesale Independent Sales Organizations (ISOs) as well as their merchant customers. Youll be plugged in all across the channel marketing team (and the rest of the business) to support our growth objectives by producing audiencefirst content that helps drive brand awareness educate the market nurture customers and influence pipeline.

What Youll Do:

Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy tailored to drive awareness and build trust with Global Payments prospective partners and their merchant customers

Identify new content topics through a variety of methods (customer interviews competitive analysis internal council of product marketers sales leaders & executives etc. using a journalists instinct for a great story

Plan and produce content such live event webinars or interactive web pieces with internal partners and vendors.

Create and manage a detailed editorial calendar in alignment with our distribution teams leveraging our organic social channels paid campaigns and email marketing efforts

Interview internal and external SMEs incorporating customer voices & proprietary data in our content to help it stand out from the pack

Work within our webinar platform and CMS to ensure the entire registration golive and postevent experience is smooth for attendees.

Define and implement content models and schemas to standardize content structures facilitating reuse and scalability

Partner with Product Marketing to activate and execute on product launch campaigns and landing pages targeting prospective partners and their merchants

Map all content to the buyers journey and align content plans with business goals

Determine how to leverage AI tools to accelerate the velocity of our content creation and develop interesting new content formats for our audiences

Measure analyze & report on content performance to inform future content trends. As we get more feedback from our audiences youll take that feedback and help the team refine our topics and messaging.

Develop all content with an eye for updates optimization and repackaging to reinforce our belief that content isnt setitandforgetit

Keep a pulse on the latest content trends to stay ahead of the curve and and then beyond it

What Youll Need (Minimum Qualifications)

  • 5 years experience in content marketing ideally for a software company or bank (bonus points for partner experience)

  • Experience as a strategic thinker and rapport builder to drive crossfunctional participation and enthusiasm about our content strategy program

  • Experience with multiple varieties of content (video webinar written interactive etc. and/or channels (social email campaigns etc.

  • Topnotch research communication and editing skills with strong instincts for a great story

  • A strong editorial sensibility and the ability to balance AIenabled insights with human creativity and judgment

  • A campaign mindset for all content created

  • Proficiency in LinkedIn Instagram Facebook Reddit and YouTube platforms (and maybe consider yourself TikTokcurious)

  • Experience working directly with Sales Product Marketing and Customer Success

  • Keen ability to distill complex information down to easily understood and marketable content

  • Fluency in revenue marketing basics like lead scoring contentinfluenced pipeline and funnel stages

  • Extremely well organized with managing editorial calendars and deliverables with an impeccable attention to detail

  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and comfortable acting with evolving information

  • A desire to experiment grow together as a highperforming team and put your unique stamp on something brand new

  • BONUS: Experience with Copy.AI interactive content development tools like Ceros webinar platforms and Wrike (or similar) project management software

About The Interview Process:

After you submit your application our team will review your resume and work portfolio. If your work aligns with what we are looking for you will be invited to a 30minute phone interview where a recruiter will dive a little deeper into your experience but also give you a little more info on what its like to work at Global Payments.

After this phone interview you will proceed to the next set of interviews which will include:

  • Meeting with the Hiring Manager

  • Small project (with compensation)

  • Panel interview with some team members from our channel marketing organization

  • Short final interview with leadership
