Job Description
Job Description:St. Anthony School is seeking a passionate and creative Art Teacher to provide engaging handson art instruction to students in grades 38. This is a temporary parttime position for one day a week (Fridays) through the end of the school year. The ideal candidate will inspire students to explore their creativity while developing foundational art skills and an appreciation for artistic expression.Responsibilities:Plan and deliver engaging art lessons tailored to various age groups.Foster a positive and encouraging classroom environment.Provide instruction in different art techniques mediums and styles.Integrate Catholic values and themes into art projects when appropriate.Manage classroom materials and maintain a clean organized workspace.Assess student progress and provide feedback.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Art Education Fine Arts or a related field (preferred).Experience teaching art to elementary and middle school students.Strong classroom management and organizational skills.Ability to work collaboratively with school staff.Commitment to fostering a welcoming and inclusive learning environment.Understanding of Catholic school values and mission (preferred but not required).We look forward to welcoming a dedicated and inspiring art teacher to our school community!
