Qualifications:
Willing to attain and maintain a current Registered Behavior Technician certification through the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB).
Extensive knowledge and understanding of concepts of Behavior Analysis and PBIS.
Demonstrate leadership and project organizational skills (planning implementing and evaluation).
Possess the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders educators administration etc.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with individuals teams and groups (teachers administrators and support staff).
Impeccable timemanagement skills and adhere to scheduled appointments with supervisor BIP/IEP meetings etc.
Adhere to all ethical guidelines outlined by the BACB.
Willing to enroll be currently enrolled or have already completed the 40 hour Registered Behavior Technician training.Preference is given to those who have already completed the training.
Completion of the SafetyCare Behavior Safety Training program is preferred.
Position requires standing/walking sitting lifting to 30 lbs. repetitive hand movements (including simple grasping pushing/pulling fine manipulation) bending squatting kneeling climbing and reaching. Candidates must be able to bend and move at a fast rate in the event that physical interventions are necessary.

Instructional AssistantGrade C2b Salary Scale(credit is based on years of fulltime experience in a related position)

Full time / 10 months / 183 days
