To supervise the providence of medical care for studentathletes participating in the interscholastic program under the medical direction of the studentathletes physicians and the nonmedical administrative direction of the Athletic Director. To act as consultant to the head coaches and athletic administrators in the area of preventative of avoidable athletics injuries as well as supervising the treatment rehabilitation and reconditioning of injured athletes.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge Skills and/or Abilities Required)
Must be a licensed member of the National Athletic Trainers Association. Must have a Baccalaureate degree and technical and practical experience in the proper application and supervision of a variety of physical therapy and/or diagnostic equipment. Technical and practical experience in utilizing various types of isometrics isotonic and isokinetic rehabilitation equipment. Ability to use basic diagnostic medical equipment such as a stethoscope and sphygmomanometer. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the School Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

Athletic Trainer Stipend
Athletic Trainers receivea stipend depending on experience in the range of $2538 to $3559 three times a year.
