The VWAssistantPartsManager at Diehl of Butler is a fulltime role within the automotive industry in Butler Pennsylvania. The position entails providing exceptional customer service while also generating sales. As anAssistantPartsManager you will assist thePartsManager with daily operations including inventory management customer service and sales. We are seeking a motivated and driven individual with a strong passion for the automotive industry to join our dynamic team. In addition to the benefits and excellent salary the position will be located in the NEW Diehl VW building a stunningly beautiful new building located on Route 8 in Butler PA.
Compensation & Benefits:
This position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $45000 to $65000 per year. In addition to the base salary this role also offers a commission structure based on sales providing the opportunity for . Employees are also eligible for benefits including healthcare dental and 401(k) options.
Responsibilities:
Assist thePartsManager with daily operations of thepartsdepartment including ordering receiving and maintaining inventory levels.
Provide exceptional customer service both inperson and over the phone to assist customers with finding the correctpartsand accessories for their vehicles.
Generate sales through effective communication with customers and offering a wide range of product options.
Collaborate with the service and sales departments to fulfill theirpartsneeds in a timely manner.
Maintain accurate and organized inventory records and perform inventory audits as needed.
Stay uptodate on current and upcoming products and promotions to better assist customers.
Assist in training and coaching newpartsteam members on processes and procedures.
Maintain a clean and organizedpartsdepartment to ensure a positive and professional environment for employees and customers.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent is required
Minimum of 2 years of experience in the automotive industry specifically inpartsdepartments.
Strong knowledge of automotivepartsand accessories.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment.
Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
Proficient computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends as needed.
