Lead Courier Dispatcher In Office
Join thepremier familyowned logistics business proudly serving the greater Atlanta area as our next Lead Courier Dispatcher.

Details & Requirements:
- Must have Courier dispatch experience in the Atlanta Area.
- Able to Schedule and route deliveries.
- Must have experience managing DOT Compliance.
- Demonstrate excellent knowledge of the metro Atlanta area.
- Able to communicate with and follow SOPs for multiple clients.
- Communicate service problems to management and to customer.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to train coordinate and interact with independent contractors.
- Strong computer skills. Knowledgeable in Outlook Word and Excel.
- Must be a self starter demonstrating the ability to learn the intricacies of the job with minimal support.
- Demonstrate good example of teamwork and leadership.
- Good business acumen with ability to multitask and handle pressure.
- Adhere to and enforce all operational procedures and policies.
- Identify problem areas and offer solutions to improve operational efficiencies.
- Full dispatch and tracking of Courier transporters running 60 LTL shipments daily.
- Two to five years of transportation experience required preferably in the Courier or related environment.
- Operations and customer service.
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Typically MondayFriday (occasional weekend by phone).
