Job Title: Commercial Lines Account Manager
Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling midmarket accounts and a comprehensive understanding of commercial lines insurance. This role is designed for an individual who thrives in a fastpaced clientfocused environment and is ready to collaborate closely with a producer to manage and grow accounts effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daytoday activities for a portfolio of midmarket commercial accounts ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
- Work closely with a producer to deliver tailored insurance solutions to meet client needs.
- Provide exceptional customer service responding to client inquiries policy changes and claims.
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of proposals and presentations for new and existing business.
- Coordinate with underwriters and carriers to ensure competitive pricing and coverage options for clients.
- Maintain accurate records in the agency management system.
- Ensure timely renewal processing and support the production of quotes and binders.
- Conduct account reviews and maintain a strong knowledge of each clients business and risk exposures.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Required: Property & Casualty (P&C) license.
- 35 years of experience in commercial lines within an independent agency setting.
- Experience with midmarket generalist accounts.
- Proficiency in using Epic or similar agency management software.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Detailoriented with a proactive approach to client service.
